LOL, all i can say about the standard chartered voulunteering is FUN but damn TIRING.we assembled in school on saturday night and some of us sought permission from mr ahmad to go out to day and night to buy stuff, then we had to take down orders of those who wanted us to buy food. i alrdy bought two cup noodles, but like, the grand audi was locked, so i couldnt get the hot water. then i took the cup noodles out to the 7 eleven near day and night and filled it with hot water and started eating on the way back to school, while others carried the bags of stuff that the others wanted us to buy. uh, then when we returned to school, there was some movie screening at LT1. it was supposed to be ROMEO AND JULIET (modern) but it couldnt play, so we changed to MEAN GIRLS instead. rather funny, and scary at the part where the PLASTIC GIRLS get knocked down by the truck. LOL, reminds me of FD3. i've been traumatised by it after watching lor. it was so damn freezing cold in the LT, after watching the movie, we went to our classrooms to sleep. but unfortunately, the tables were too hard for us to sleep on, so i spent half an hour peeling my BURNT skin, while tricia slept soundly and fongzhi went to chat with her friends. LOL, so i didnt manage to get a wink or wat, and soon we had to set off for PADANG. met up with vincent and he handed us the really NICE adidas tee, and some goody bag with a 'lunchbox' consisting of red bean bread, chocolate cake and some biscuits. then we changed into the adidas tee, without using the toilet. LOL, we merely put on the adidas tee over our own tee and took off our tee. the track ppl made some human wall or wat, haha. haha, we then went on the bus that was supposed to chauffer us to our drink station, but we sat on the bus for 1 hour plus before it started moving. as soon as we got to the drinks station, we started to carry the boxes of water to their respective places. as told by JUNE, one box of water was 18kg! and we moved like 20 boxes of water each, so my back was damn PAIN after carrying the bottles. when the race begun, we were like busy pouring water into the cups, and the cups miraculously disappeared damn quickly, because like each runner took around 4 cups each, and some took more than that to rinse themselves. after repeating the same action for almost 4 hours, the runners gradually decreased, and soon stopped all our work. waited around 2 hours for the bus to chauffer us, but none came. so in the end we had to walk all the way to PADANG. claimed the $20 and went suntec with marianne, tricia, fongzhi and june. had kfc and went carrefour to buy FBT shorts and shirt. went home TIREDLY and slept. ZZZ |
