Finally. A day that I arent rotting away at home. Planned to go cycling with Leckhui, her cousin and june but due the the gloomy weather, we thought it would be better if we stay at Leckhui's house instead. Leckhui's cousin Grace didnt go to her house in the end. Played around with the guitar, watch bull fighting on youtube and had Auntie Ninfa's delicious mee. Haha, I always look forward to having meals at Leckhui's house cause her maid's cooking is really...SUPERB(: In the end I had three servings of the mee:D We watched disney channel, tom and jerry on cartoon network until the weather was better then we headed for pasir ris park! In the end there isnt any bike rental there-.- We walked a few kilometres in search of a bike rental shop but we already walked all the way to downtown east yet there wasnt any bike rental in sight, haha. So our cycling outing turned out to be some walkathon. Headed for the arcade at downtown east right away and played the scoop sweets machine. Inserted around 17 bucks or so and we won quite a lot of sweets. Haha, so lame right. 17 bucks just for a bag of sweets that you can buy with just less than 5 bucks. Well, what matters is that we had fun(: I managed to break my record for the arcade basketball game and i went to stage 3! haha. No big deal la, i think any guy can complete the entire game easily. Played a lot of games that were from HDB hub, like 'pop and music' and bashi champ. I was playing the pop n music game with leckhui and june halfway when I received a call from Acer for me to work as some telephone thing. As in Im supposed to pick up the phone calls. But guess what, the working place is a Jurong east! Rahh, it's about 1 hour ride from my house to there la. Aww well, at least I have a job and I dont have to rot at home. here's the pics we took today while walking to find bike rental, Getting bored after walking for so loooooong. The cars we won at the arcade! Posted Wednesday, February 27, 2008 // 2:41 PM
Just when I thought I can continue studying in NY, just when I accepted the teacher's offer of H2 econs, maths, chem and H1 bio, I received a msg from the teacher that even that combi is full. Someone else took my place. RAHHHHHH. So unfair. I think I was really too slow. Yeah, so only one choice left. Temasek Poly Biomed. Uh, but I rather have Singapore Poly for biomed, but now cant appeal anymore. What's with fate? Fooling me all the time. Grr, anyway. Really thanks a lot to those we gave me advice about whether to take the econs combi or just go poly! I suddenly realised im really very blessed and fortunate to have such good friends(: Thank you TRICIA, LECKHUI, NATALIE, YUANHUI, YUZHI and many more. Really appreciated your help :D Here are the photos we took during 6/7 gathering. Joan and I

So I've been rotting at home ever since the JAE results.I had been doing lots of thinking, about whether to appeal to NY or just stay in TP although I did mentioned earlier that I've decided to study Biomed in TP. But my mother wanted me to try to appeal to NYJC, cause once I decide to do Biomed, I cant turn back anymore. That means I cant regret after I've started on the course, and my whole future will be ruined if I realise that I dont really like biomed or I cant do well in it. Whereas in JC, I can take a combination of subjects, and when I want to go to the uni to further my studies, I'll have more choices to choose from. However, the bad thing is, there isnt any diploma or cert and if I dont do well in JC, that's it. Rahh, there's really a lot of pros and cons about both JC and poly. I appealed to NY, and it was successful. But my subject combination of H2 CLL, Maths , Chem and H1 Bio was rejected cause the teacher in charge said that my combi was full. So he offered me H2 Econs, Maths Chem and H1 Bio. Of course i didnt want cause I really cant do econs, some more H2 econs. I'd rather have H2 bio than H2 econs. Then the teacher in charge said he'll help me check again. But if there really isnt any vacancies, I have no choice but to go poly. Gosh, can anyone give me any advice?! Should i just take econs in jc or go poly? Posted Sunday, February 24, 2008 // 1:57 PM
Had a really strenuous trng yesterday. But the physical trng was the worse part. We did push ups, frog jumps, crab walks and 5 rounds around the hall. Looks easy right, but it's really really tiring. Our knees were really wobbly after trng. And my muscles are starting to ache already!Went home and slacked a while before going to city hall to meet up with the 6/7 people! We havent seen one another for 4 years, so we got quite a shock when we saw how much all of us changed. Well the guys mostly grew really really tall. A drastic change from what I remembered the last time I saw them, haha. Tinghui was the tallest! Really lanky. Other than their heights, there wasnt much diff to their facial appearances. Of course, the girls grew prettier! Only half the class went, so i couldnt see a lot others that I greatly missed. Amanda, serena, Joanne, Joan , Rachel, Mu Ying, Tinghui, Chuan En, Pei Chang, Charles, Benedict, Terence, Wong Yi, Leckhui and I were the only 6/7 ppl who went. After settling down and greeting one another, we went to Swensens at Suntec and had our dinner. Mr Albert Tan was also present, so we had quite a wonderful time. Our class had a lot to catch up, so we were chatting throughout the entire meal. After that, we celebrated Amanda's birthday with an ice cream cake from swensens! We actually wanted to buy helium balloons for her, but didnt get to see any on the way, so we had to make do with the cake only. We stood at the fountain of wealth after dinner and discussed really looong about where we should go- bowling, movie or pool. Chose pool in the end at matina square. Well, i must really say that Amanda is really good at pool. We teamed up into 2 people in a group. But i only get to hit the last 8 ball in while amanda hit in the rest solid balls. Haha, what a disgrace. Think im getting really rusty already. I was feeling all the lactic acid building up in my muscles due to the really tough physical trng after our table tennis trng. So Leckhui Joan and I headed home at around 10 while the others played bowling. Really hope we can have another gathering, with all the 6/7 pple! Posted Tuesday, February 19, 2008 // 9:24 PM
RAHHHHH! IM POSTED TO TEMASEK POLY BIOMEDICAL SCIENCEim jolly well gonna stay there for good. Since im always interested in taking biomed, and i suddenly think that JC life is not suitable for me. Oh yeah, Leckhui's also posted to same course same poly as me(: And june too. But i think she's gonna go NY. Im getting out and she's going in. Haha. I was pondering really really looong about appealing to NY or just go poly after i knew i was posted to TP biomed. But after much encouragement and thinking and asking around, i decided to go to poly. Maybe i am just fated to go there. GOOD LUCK TO THOSE WHO WENT JC(: Must study hard there for your promos! SORRY GUYS:( Had been really busy lately. Busy with trainings, tutorials, and counting ANGBAOS(: Though i didnt really get to visit many relatives this year, surprisingly, i ended up with more money(: But i cant keep the money, it goes into my bank acc:( My cousin's daughter Kayla just celebrated her Manyue~ Dont know how to translate, lol. She's really really cute:D Here's a picture of her, but i guess all babies look almost alike. It's really fast, and this week is the last week of PAE. Hope i can stay in NY for JAE cause i dont want to leave all my friends and make new friends again. It's kinda sad though, cause some ppl that i got to know during PAE arent staying. SHIMIN! argh, another smart alec and she reminds me of Pam. I miss PAM all of a sudden. We've been playing Angels and Mortals throughout this entire week and it's rather fun, unexpectedly. It goes like that. Everyone's an angel and a mortal at the same time. Angels start writing letters to the mortals first cause Angels know their mortal's names but the mortals wont know who's their angels. The student council showed us a list to see who will be our mortals. So it's like everyone has an angel and a mortal. The aim of this game is to let us make more friends. Im lucky to have my mortal and angel as they share the same interest as i do(: Yeah, o i quite enjoyed writing to them. Oh ya , it's Valentine's Day today(: Gave many gifts and received a lot too. Thanks to Suethui, Tricia, Cat and MEL for the roses! And the others who gave me presents( too lazy to write) . Hope everyone can have a great day with their loved ones! HAPPY VALENTINES' Posted Tuesday, February 5, 2008 // 7:14 PM
Reached home at around 11 yesterday and i was so damn tired. Our training ended at around 7.30 and Leckhui Yizhuang and I had to rush to Lt4 to watch 'The One' which is a singing competition. All because of the teacher in charge of table tennis, we couldnt leave early; she didnt allowed us to.In the end, we were rather late for 'The One', and had to take the backseats. But I guess our rushing and stuff was all worth it. Though some of the contestants werent really very good probably because they had stage fright, the overall winner for Solo and Group category put up a really good performance. The solo winner was Yingxue, one of the two J1s that made it to the finals. I must say she really had a powerful voice and she managed to entertain the audience. Well needless to say, the group winner was our senior Yeeling and Amanda's friend. They were really really good, so it isnt really surprising that they won. Sadly, Yeeling withdrew from the finals at the last minute cause she had a sore throat. Leckhui Yizhuang and I were saying that Yeeling would have won if she didnt withdrew. At least Yeeling did win something(: We were trying so hard to get the tickets to The One just to watch Yeeling sing. Nothing extraordinary happened today, just the usuals. But throughout the whole day, i was very very tired that i couldnt really open my eyes. I was planning to skip the NY celebration tmr, but i realised i need to order more roses and i have to pay for it tmr in the morning. So i have to go there , and go back chung cheng after the celebration. Yeah, before i leave, HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE(: Posted Friday, February 1, 2008 // 11:29 PM
The day when June and Sinying came to crash Blehh~ Sinying and I I was trying to plan an OG outing during the past few days, but in the end, there wasnt much enthusiasm shown by my OG 24, and barely half of the OG could go for the outing, so i had to cancel the outing. Sorry OGLS for ruining the anticipation you guys had. June came to NY to crash on wed(: June and sinying went for most of our lessons to try out how they were like, and went for their CO auditions. Hope they can appeal in to our school successfully! Oh yeah, Tricia Leckhui Suet hui and I went to tjc for a CNY carnival of theirs today, and it was not very fun. Maybe because we were strangers to TJ and we couldnt really share the joy everyone was having. Everyone in TJ were like damn high and they were fooling around, most of them holding plates of whipped cream and smashing them onto others' faces. I was with Shaoyun and Eunice when a one of shaoyun's friend suddenly appeared with a plate of whipped cream and he tried to smash it at Shaoyun. So i just pushed shaoyun away and she tried to dodge too and the malt candy she was holding ended up sticking to my hands unknowingly. Then it was like so yuck, damn sticky. I didnt lick it off my palms of course. We went for dinner at Bedok interchange there after staying in TJ for around 2 hours, had KFC. It's really rare that we get to meet up and eat like that in the future, i guess, so we really treasured it. Weird things have been happening to me recently. While at a traffic light on the way to the bus stop in the morning few days back, some old uncle who was on a bike suddenly told me ' Ke2 yi3 zou3 le4! lv4 deng1 le4' then i was like , duh i know, i was already walking on the road le. I guess he thought i was stoning. Then few days back again, when i was walking home, there were two malay guys from ITE i think, and they were walking towards me. Then when we were about to walk past each other, one of the malay guys suddenly stretched out his hands INTENTIONALLY and he was like about to hit me but he retracted his hands last minute. Then his friend was like saying 'hey!' to him So i got a bit shocked. And yesterday, another weird uncle on the motorbike said hi to me while i was at the traffic light. Of course i didnt bother about him. Wonder what's with all these weirddddd people. RAHHHHHH! i want an OG outing. IM SO BORED. |
