IVP first match against NYP

Today's 'deciding' match against NYP. Guess we didnt play very well since it's our first match in this comp. So we lost 3:2. It's 'deciding' match because in our group, there's NYP, NTU, NP and us.We have to win at least two schools to get in top four, but we lost to NYP, and winning NTU is almost impossible. NTU is just like how we saw RGS or SNG, filled with too many pro people to win. But we werent that disheartened though this means that we cant get into top 4 of IVP, partly cause there wasnt much intensive training before IVP as everyone were all busy acting or lazy to go training. Nvrm TEAM(: There's still POL-ITE this year and IVP next year(: Let's beat NYP the next time alright(: I played with Elizabeth, whom I always think that she's a rather good player. It's always a tough game whenever leck hui or yizhuang play with her. Surprisingly, she didnt do as well as she did previously. A lot of errors made when she served, and a few points gone. Then more errors when receiving my service, and more points gone. I think she wasnt quite used to playing with anti-spin (my type of rubber). So I won her mostly because of the errors she made. Tmr's against NTU, there isnt much chance but let's just try our best! |
